This is the first Newsletter which I hope to issue to pass on information about what 2nd Brewood Scouts have done and are doing.
Meeting dates
The first meeting is scheduled for Friday 11 September at 7.00pm, as usual. Uniform will be required this term, unless specifically advised otherwise.
Summer Camp
We counted them all out and counted them all back. Seventeen Scouts visited Lees Wood in late July. The activities including air rifle shooting, archery and climbing. They also had to light their camp fires and do much of their own cooking, including rabbit stew. I hope the washing machines survived.
I also hope that they all enjoyed it – the Leaders certainly thought it was a good camp. There are plenty of photographs which can be viewed from the Group’s website – www.2ndbrewoodscouts.org.uk. Some are more embarrassing than others.
